Submission of abstracts is now open, and we will extend the date so you will be able to submit abstracts until 15th of April. You find the registration here: https://nedsconference.com/neds-conference-2026/call-for-abstracts/
You can send in abstracts in the following categories:
Poster Presentations
Poster presentations provide an opportunity to visually communicate research, projects, or innovations in a concise format. The first evening after the conference we hold a reception were poster presenters engage with participants in an informal setting, facilitating dialogue, feedback, and networking around their work.
Short Paper Presentations
Short paper presentations offer authors the chance to present focused research findings or project insights in a brief oral format. Each presentation highlights key results or lessons learned, followed by time for questions and discussion with the audience.
Workshops
Workshops are interactive sessions designed to deepen participants’ knowledge or skills through hands-on activities, collaborative exercises, or guided discussions. They emphasize active engagement and practical learning around a specific theme or method. We welcome workshops on topics relevant to the conference theme “Narrowing the gap between research and clinical care”.
Doctoral Research Presentations
This category invites doctoral candidates and recently graduated PhDs to submit abstracts presenting their dissertation projects. The aim is to showcase ongoing and innovative research that has the potential to narrow the gap between research and clinical practice. Presenters will briefly outline their project’s focus, methods, and anticipated contributions, offering participants insight into emerging knowledge that can inform and strengthen clinical care.
Sincerely,
Sanna Aila Gustafsson
